Reviews and Ratings
I had mixed feelings about my stay at Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort. The beautiful grounds and stunning views of Lake Victoria really stood out, but the service and dining left much to be desired. While the rooms were spacious and modern, my experience was marred by some issues with management during my stay. Overall, I would suggest other options before considering this place.
My stay at the resort was absolutely wonderful! The location was stunning, offering beautiful lake views, and the grounds were meticulously maintained. The rooms were nice but felt a bit bare and had a peculiar layout with something that looked like a kitchen that wasn’t quite functional. The service was attentive and cheerful, which really enhanced our experience. I had a fantastic time enjoying the pool and the delicious dining options, particularly the breakfast buffet. Overall, it was a great value for money, but a couple of minor improvements could elevate the experience even more.
I had an amazing weekend at Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort with my family. The overall experience was excellent, from the check-in to the check-out. The breakfast buffet was a highlight for us, offering a variety of options. On the other hand, while the location next to Lake Victoria was stunning, I found the rooms to be lacking some advertised amenities like Internet access and hair dryers. Despite this, the cleanliness and the measures taken during the pandemic made me feel very safe throughout our stay.
My stay had its ups and downs. The property is lovely with its expansive grounds and stunning views of Lake Victoria, but the service was disappointing and could use significant improvement. While the rooms were modern and spacious, the dining experience left much to be desired. Overall, it’s a mixed bag where the beauty of the resort competes against the lack of attentive service.
My experience at Munyonyo Commonwealth Resort was quite mixed. The expansive grounds are beautiful, and the view of Lake Victoria from our room was amazing. However, the service in the dining area was subpar, and we felt unvalued as guests. The room we received was spacious and modern, yet the lack of attention from the staff and the incident with the fresh paint was disappointing.
